Prawn - 500 gm medium big size ( 20 counts)
garlic paste - 1 2 tsp
pepper powder - 1/2 +1/4 tsp
lime juice - 1-2 tsp
maida - 2 tbsp + corn flour 1 tbsp + rice flour 1 tbsp
for dusting - 2 tbsp maida.
egg - 1 + chill water - 1/2 cup
oil - to fry
Steps to follow:
Remove the head and outer shell of the prawns. Keep the last segment and tail. Devein the back. Clean and wash thoroughly and cut four to five slits to straighten them.

Ingredients:Mutton – (big pieces) 500 – 600 gm
Basmati rice – 400 gm
Chopped onion big– 1
Chopped Tomato big – 1
Green chillies – 2
Fresh yogurt – 1- 2 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp
Arabic majboos masala – 2 – 3 tsp
Dry lemon – 1 or 2
Chopped coriander & mint leaves – few.
Oil – 4 tbsp
Ghee – 1 tbsp
Bay leaf – 1
Whole pepper – quarter tsp
Salt – to taste
For garnishing - fried nuts optional.
Wash and soak rice for 20 minutes.
Rinse the mutton pieces thoroughly and drain the water .
In a pressure cooker heat oil & ghee add bay leaf and few whole pepper then add chopped onion, fry till light pink, add ginger garlic paste and stir well. Add chopped tomato, green chillies, chopped mint and coriander leaves. Sprinkle some salt and cook for a minute.
Then add mutton pieces , majboos masala, and yogurt. Mix well. Add a cup of water, required salt & dry lemon. Close with lid and cook the mutton pieces for 10 minutes in medium flame.
After pressure released open the cooker and add 2- 2 /2 cup water, let it boil. Add the soaked rice.check the salt.
Cook the rice in medium low flame. Switch off.
Mix and serve . Garnish with fried nuts or sliced tomatoes and lime.
It is mildly spiced and flavoured to give an irresistible taste.
